There is so much I could say, but I'll leave it for now.

You know, just because you can cook some meals doesn't mean you should have to. You're still a kid just as much as I am, you should be able to enjoy someone else cooking for you, still.

I mean. Technically, yes. [ Takeout was always a luxury for the Byers family, because groceries could churn out multiple meals with the same amount of money as Chinese takeout. ] But there's something about mom's homecooked meals that always hit differently.

I wasn't that great, either, though. [ He's learned his lesson about boundaries and consent when it comes to photography, for instance. ]

My mom never really cooked much. Honestly I don't think she really knew how or assumed it was beneath her? Haven't figured that one out yet.

A lot of things could have happened differently if they didn't play out like they had.

I'm glad it worked out the way that it did, for the most part. Wish I had done some things differently, but. I'm hoping that I can make up for that now.
