[8pm Friday and Eddie's actually had a chance -and an inclination- to tidy up a bit, and on top of that he's got snacks handy, because despite pretty much everything else about him, he is a good host.
Part of that was also because Wayne had left pizza money on the fridge, but Eddie wasn't going to turn that down. No reason to look a gift horse in the mouth and all.

[ With Argyle freshly moved back to California, there were only so many people left in Hawkins he would trust himself to smoke with. Which really, the list mostly started and ended with Eddie at the moment.
Steve, well...there's still the awkwardness of Nancy left between them, and eventually maybe they'll have a much-needed talk where they'd bare their souls and apologize to each other, but Jonathan's still reeling from his own talk with Nancy. It's a testament to how good he is at hiding how he's feeling by showing up on Eddie's trailer's doorstep with a crooked smile on his face instead of a mopey one. ]
So I did. Lead the way? [ He hasn't been in the trailer all that often, and yet he still immediately feels right at home, the coziness of the double wide reminding him an awful lot of that first house the Byers lived in right off Cornwallis. ]
[He gestures with one arm to the main room of the trailer, stepping back so that Jonathan can actually step inside] Make yourself at home, word of warning, the couch will try to eat you, but it's comfortable, so might be worth it, but if you're going to need to get up and pace, I suggest the recliner instead, toaster-pop action makes getting up easier.
[He shrugs, smile tilting] That said, got water, got fruit punch, got chips and the name-brand oreos. Pretty sure we're set for at least a couple hours.
[ Jonathan lets out a hearty laugh at the warning about the couch. The recliner does sound promising, but he's never really been the type of smoker to need to pace, and he tends to like to sprawl himself out, so couch it is. ]
Well, damn, that sounds like a really good selection to me. [ He plops down, making himself comfortable and looking around to get a better look. Despite it being just Eddie and his uncle here, the place looks well decorated, and lived in. He likes it. ] Nice place. Very cozy.
